Nice original item that measures approximately 9" wide by 12 1/2" tall. Item cam from an authentic hard bound edition of THE THEATRE magazine .... page 31, December 1923.
Item is in great shape with just a small amount of the yellowing effect of age. It has no rips or tears but does have a spot or two of paper rippling at the edges due to handling. Picture on this heavier stock paper is excellent quality and looks much better than my scan shows. Please note that this page is larger than my scanner surface so it appears to be cropped. Page actually has a nice white border area which would be great for framing. Overall this is in excellent condition. Not bad for an item over 84 years old!
The was first film produced by Samuel Goldwyn after leaving Goldwyn Pictures Corporation. The production was shot on location in Rome, Italy, and New York, New York. The film made its debut on December 17, 1923. It was directed by George Fitzmaurice and writing credits go to Hall Caine and Ouida Bergère.
The original film of this movie has been presumed lost so that make this piece even more interesting!
Please note that the page was to big for my scanner and appears cropped.... which is not the case.
